Plan New Hampshire: The Foundation for Shaping the Built Environment, seeks to preserve the quality of life in our state by encouraging sustainable planning, design and development of the built environment.
One means of fulfilling this mission is through its Scholarship program.
The Scholarship Program
Plan New Hampshire’s Scholarship Program awards scholarships to undergraduate students from New Hampshire who are studying a field related to the built environment and its impact on community.
So that we may have a greater diversity of applications, Scholarships do NOT INCLUDE students of architecture, mechanical engineering, interior design or studio arts, as these are taken care of in our Fellowship Program.
Qualifications:
Scholarship recipients must agree to continue the plan of study described in her or his application during the first semester following this application period.
Students interested in applying may click on the upper right for an information brochure, an application form and the reference form.
At its Annual Meeting on June 12, 2009, Plan NH awarded a $2000 scholarship to Andrew Hollis Cushing of Piermont NH, who is pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies at Bowdoin College.
Applications are due no later than April 7, 2010. Qualified candidates may be asked to be interviewed and show their portfolios. 2010 recipients will be awarded at a special reception in late May.
